LAURANKA

UNDERSTANDING THE RAW DATA CLOCK FILE OUTPUT FOR EASY INTEGRATION INTO 3RD PARTY ATTENDANCE SOLUTIONS

(Lauranka COMMS Sigma)

Our Lauranka COMMS Sigma Software is an incredibly simple to setup and easy to use P.C. or Server based application designed specifically for use with Idemia's Sigma, VisionPass and amazing MorphoWave Compact Biometric Readers. It not only allows for the Polling of Data off the Reader(s), but also basic setup requirements including the transferring/manipulation of templates, etc.

You can POLL the Readers either manually (via the COMMS Software), or automatically via a Windows Task Schedule, or in the case of many of the 3rd party solutions who link into our COMMS/Reader solutions just run a simple command line to trigger the Polling.

Polling Command Line -

"C:\Lauranka\Lauranka Comms\CommsSigma.exe" quickpoll

When we POLL we will create a new file if none exists or append to an existing one if it already exists. We do not specify if the Clocking is In or Out, it is up to the Attendance Software to determine this based on their rules. The default file name we create is 'tmclock.daf', however please note this is totally user definable including the extension name and file location to where it is to be saved.
